Australian sender Jai Motherwell is one of those riders seeking a coveted spot. Here we see him throw his hat, along with the rest of his body, into the ring of consideration. While there's no shortage of commitment, Jai and his team may want to go back to the drawing board on that landing! 

Happily, Jai came away from this one with nothing broken, although he had to be heli-lifted to Dunedin Hospital before getting the all-clear. Glad to hear it!
