Thomas Bannister lost the use of his left arm eight years ago, when a horrific mountain biking crash left it paralyzed and immobile. But that hasn't stopped Thomas from returning to the sport he loves, which he accomplished by moving both brakes to the right side of his handlebars and mastering, Bruce Lee-style, a one-armed approach to calmly shredding a bike through rock gardens and berms. Thomas has even ridden the Champery World Cup downhill track this way, fingering his front and rear brakes with his pointer and middle fingers. Incredible!
