Ultra-distance cyclist Lael Wilcox doesn’t see it that way. Her first adventure ride started from her own garage in Alaska, and her bike was the vessel for exploring. Over time, she gradually pushed her limits on her bike and won notable events like the Trans Am Bike Race in 2016. Regardless, she kept coming home to ride more and eventually concocted the idea to ride all the major roads in Alaska.
