Blood, sweat, tears and the right gears might be what makes up a great biker - but what makes you arguably the greatest biker is having nerves of steel, a sense of adventure, and maybe a faulty amygdala (but we aren't judging, we get to see some awesome footage because of it).
It's hard to think of anything else when you see what went into the making of Commencal's new edit that came out last month: Chasing Volcanoes on a MTB with Kilian Bron.
RELATED: Kilian Bron Mountain Bikes Volcanic Island
If you haven't watched it, the guys head to the Aeolin Islands to bike some of the most dangerous and demanding terrain the world has to offer, and they still manage to have fun while risking their lives.
Behind the Trip of Chasing Volcanos shows the crew overcoming a few obstacles like vertigo, seasickness, sulphur fumaroles and erupting volcanoes, just to name a few.
They might make the final product look easy, but mountain biking near volcanoes proves to be no small feat.

Amazing skills and passion. One thing I need to know and that is how do you guys manage not to damage the suspension of the bike. I mean jump like that can make the spring go damaged and loosen. I tired the same thing with my mountain bike and had to repair it.
