Josh Carlson switched up his daughter’s morning commute to school by going biking. To clarify, Carlson biked—his daughter Remi rode shotgun. Remi is able to tag along thanks to a shotgun seat, which is a mini kids saddle that can be mounted right to the bike frame.

It’s an awesome way to get toddlers riding before they’re able to pedal themselves, and Remi seems like she’s having a grand time. Check out the set up:

I have a similar set up using the Mac Ride seat (www.mac-ride.com). It doesn’t clamp to the frame at all - it spans the gap between the head tube and the seat post - works with my dropper, and my 2yo loves it. He wouldn’t let me leave last Saturday on my bike ride without taking him with me.
That’s success in my book.
