Jeff Kendall-Weed Tries The North Shore’s Hardest MTB Trail

Jeff Kendall-Weed is a bit of a bike wizard – his signature style includes everything from über-technical riding, stylish airs, to creative trials maneuvers over exposure. In a nutshell, he rides weird things in new ways that are fun for us to watch. Knowing that, it should come as no surprise that his new bike looks a little weird. It’s Ibis’s all-new Mojo HD5 bike sporting a Trust’s new Shout linkage fork up front. Now that’s a mouthful.

With that, enjoy watching him tackle arguably the hardest trail in one the hardest trail networks in the world: Vancouver’s North Shore. It’s wet, it’s steep, and it’s littered with crazy wooden ladder features. Of course, Jeff makes it all look way too easy.

Kids these days seem to be sending it big before their eighth birthday. Granted bike technology has progressed leaps and bounds, but it still takes a level of fearlessness to approach a technical rock garden or wooden wallride. It's case and point are six-year-old Crosby and seven-year-old Tya, who both love testing their limits on their bikes. Who knows, maybe they’ll be the next Brett Rheeder or Tahnee Seagrave? We're used to seeing great edits from DJ Brandt, Hugo "Frixfrix" Frixtalon, and William Robert, but this one has raised the bar higher still. Shot in Colorado, Utah, BC, and the French Alps, this video is ten minutes of beautiful cinematography and rowdy tricks. From DJ Brandt ripping big-mountain lines in Utah to William Robert hitting a massive jump line in the Alps, it's all sick.  RELATED: Here Are Our Favorite Moments From Formation Well paired with a soundtrack featuring the likes of
