If mole, tacos, mezcal, and racing bikes through agave forests sound like your cup of tea, a trip down to Oaxaca for the Trans Sierra Norte enduro race might be just the thing. It’s a race unlike any other, combining a stunningly beautiful cultural experience (Mexico’s Day of the Dead celebration) with riding some of the wildest and rawest singletrack we’ve ever seen. This year’s race saw some big names show up to test their skills against the mountains of Oaxaca, including none other than Richie Rude, Jesse Melamed, Andreane Lanthier Nadeu and Sage Cattabriga-Alosa.
