The global pandemic brought the snowsports industry to a halt for three months. For many on the European continent, lockdown meant strict confinement at home, far away from the mountains. When the COVID restrictions were finally lifted, French freeskiing prodigy Ben Buratti went straight to the mountains only to find that his home mountain La Clusaz had become an eerie ghost town. His new film Finally documents Buratti’s return to the snow on the first day after the lockdown, and there’s not another soul in sight.
The deserted resort feels straight from a post-apocalyptic drama, except instead of zombies, it’s just Buratti making the most of a blank canvas. We love the creative concept and can't wait to catch the full film dropping this December.
