For any multi-sport shredders like Dane Tudor, fall is a time of transition. Stoke for ski season is building up, but the tacky dirt and beautiful crisp air keeps them on theit bikes for as long possible. This sometimes means making a long weekend out of it, heading to a riding mecca like Crested Butte and taking advantage of those perfect fall conditions before gearing up for big days skiing in the backcountry. The high country of Colorado may be beautiful, but in early October, it is not out of the ordinary for the tacky dirt to come with a fresh dusting of snow.
