There are some things I like to do by vicariously living through others, and mountain biking naked is definitely one of them. Call me closed-minded, but my guess is that going mach burrito into a patch of gravel doesn’t feel all that pleasant when you’re in nothing but your birthday suit and a pair of knee pads. Still, there are purists among us that love the liberation of going kit-less, which is why the World Naked Bike Ride exists. No joke, it's an annual event that's been hosted in 120 cities in 25 countries for the last 17 years.
While on the surface this might seem silly, the whole event was inspired "to deliver a vision of a cleaner, safer, more body-positive world.” Clothed or not, that’s something we should all get behind. So in honor of body positivity and making the trails a more welcoming place, riders Hailey Elise and Ollie Jones and their pals are baring it all in their latest shredit. If it inspires you to leave the kit at home then I have one piece of advice for you: don’t forget your knee pads.
