Behind the Scenes of Danny MacAskill’s Infamous Log Jib

Danny MacAskill may look perfect when he rides a bike for the camera, but truth is, he spends hours and hours trying and perfecting every trick before stomping. In the case of his infamous log jib from 2016’s Wee Day Out, it took him hundreds of tries to land. Talk about resilience. What’s even more interesting, though, is the peek behind the scenes we get in Danny’s latest video.

As anyone with any ounce of experience on a mountain bike might guess, mountain bikes don’t really slide on wood – so the crew covered a portion of the downed tree with Vaseline to allow Danny to slide.
