Whitewater Kayaking in an Underground Cave in Mexico

Grutas de Cacahuamilpa National Park located in Mexico, has long been a destination for cave explorers. Besides its extensive network of caves, the park also includes two underground rivers, a spot perfect for professional kayaker Rafa Ortiz to explore.

Whitewater kayaking is difficult enough when you can see perfectly, let alone just through the narrow beam of a headlamp. The trio of kayakers hit a handful of rapids and navigate tight boulder gardens, all in darkness, before safely exiting out the other end.
