Officer Hallock is an officer in the Londonderry, New Hampshire police department with some wicked skate skills and an accent to match. In this short back to school safety video, the officer does his best Rodney Mullen impression while educating the masses on the importance of street safety. Sure, climbing Everest might no longer be the adventure it used to be with glamping, pay-to-play summit ascents, and permit issues. However, the dangers are still very real, like when crossing massive crevasses through the notorious Khumbu Icefall. Two climbers were crossing a crevasse on a ladder while roped together, falling in after the ladder collapsed. According to the climber’s report, both were okay.
