This is What a Flash Flood in Zion Looks Like

Flash floods are a serious hazard in the desert. Rainfall miles away can travel quickly, causing dry creek beds to turn into raging torrents. This video from Zion National Park illustrates how quickly the landscape can change. The video comes from Instagram user 23Boxer and he had the following to say about the incident, "When the FLASH FLOOD hit. With the family at Zion National Park. In the narrows. My brothers my nephew and I while helping others cross the river. People were panicking but it was a fun adventure and others started helping."

They were lucky the group was able to keep calm and everyone stayed safe.

This is one of the best articles I have come across. Keep up the good work.
