Members of the UVM Ski and Snowboard Team are keeping loose and limber this summer, cliff jumping around some of the Green Mountain State's classic spots. From Barre to Winooski summer is still alive in this edit. If you have not had the pleasure of enjoying the many waterfalls, streams, and cliffs of Vermont put it on the bucket list. They call themselves the Stunt Freaks Team for a reason. Turns out it's actually possible to combine paragliding and snowmobiling into the same sport. After smashing the sled on the first trial, this band of extreme-lifestyle lunatics put it back together again and successfully succeeded flying it off the cliff in Rikgranson, Sweden. Apparently using a snowmobile on the ground is too mainstream these days.
This rope is set up between two trams at a ski resort in Sweden. Usually, a video of rope swing includes someone slamming into the side of a hill. This one, however, is a little more eloquent and beautiful. The only question that remains is would you make the jump?
Some records are just meant to be broken, especially when they involve pushing the limits in things like the world of highlining. Canada’s Slacklife BC crew recently set a new record for longest highline in the world, stretched across an entire valley at Mt. Seymour, BC. Youtuber Levi Allen of Leftcoast Media came along to document the experience telling the story all the way from rigging to pro highliner Alexander Schultz’s onsight of the massive line.
