Running Jackson Hole’s Cody Peak Is One Badass Jog

Running might not be at the top of your list as far as reasons to visit Jackson Hole go, but compared to jogging the busy city streets of New York, running up to Cody Peak off Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is a serious adventure, as demonstrated here by running coach Eric Orton and local ultrarunner Meredith Edwards.

The mountain is running a mountain and trail running camp in late July with Eric called Born to Run, and if you're training for any marathons this summer, it's a sure-fire way to beat yourself into shape among some of the most incredible vistas you've ever put one foot in front of the other in.

it’s a “serious adventure”? aw yeah. run to almost 11k carrying nothing & wearing just a tank top. weather never changes up at those heights, eh? guess if it turns ugly or you roll your ankle the heli shooting that sweet footage will pick you up.
spook a grizz on your jog up the mountain and you pull the bear spray canister out of your ass? question is, can you wipe off your shit that’s clogging the nozzle fast enough? maybe eric throws the generic little blonde at the bear as a distraction while he runs oh so gracefully away.
