Dirt Bike Rides Tahiti Waves… No Joke!

Yes, this video contains Robbie Maddison riding a motorcycle on water and, more specifically, down the face of some waves in Tahiti. No, we're not kidding. We're not sure if this is crazier than him blasting almost 400 feet off of the Utah Olympic Park ski jump. We're really... just not sure what to think.

Following the same trajectory as Moore's Law, action sports craziness seems to be doubling every time you hit "refresh" on Youtube, and Robbie's video follows the trend. Especially with some gasoline in the mix, you can really up the ante–say, triple backflip a couple-hundred pound dirt bike, or slap the human powered experience in the face (1:40 in the Maddison video) and ride a bike (with a modified sled/dingy apparatus) on water. 

We're not sure exactly where things will go next, but we're pretty sure it's going to be going down at either of the two final frontiers of human exploration–the bottom of the ocean, and outer space. TGR has invested heavily in deep sea diving start-ups and SpaceX with this in mind. Stay tuned!
