German Photog Tobias Ilsanker Channels His Inner Kerouac

"Pack up my van, hit the road, destination unknown." German photographer and cinematographer Tobias Ilsanker gets it right in his new film, "Adrift." Filled with gorgeous surf and adventure shots, this film has us itching to pack up our own vans (or do some serious googling trying to buy one) and hit the road.

"Adrift." captures a feeling that we've all had: not being able to shake that craving for adventure. As soon as you get home and your boots hit the floor, your feet are already itching for more. It's an insatiable need.

The mountains are calling, oceans are like magnets, and forests won't leave my mind.

"I travel because I must. I feel the need to keep moving. Trees, the ocean, isolation, and the simple life... these are the things that drive me," the narrator says.

Happiness is not a destination, happiness is the journey. Embrace the journey.
