Video: Jetski Carnage From The North Shore

The last few days have brought some pretty legendary swell to our favorite big wave surf spots. First, we saw Mavericks absolutely going off, then Oahu’s North Shore saw some massive waves on January 16. One particular set got the better of a line up of jet skis and included waves with 35-foot faces. Start watching around the 2:00 mark to see what happens next– not sure I’ve ever seen a ski get so much airtime as whoever was piloting the last few skis to go over. Talk about commitment in the face of utter chaos.

Unfortunately, photographer Ryan Moss was aboard one of the skis that launched into the stratosphere, and suffered a broken back from the impact. A gofundme has been set up to assist with his medical bills.
