Some states are better than others for surfing. Nevertheless, surfer Ben Gravy decided that he would catch a wave in all fifty, and embarked on an epic journey to make it happen. Have you ever heard of anyone surfing in Kansas? We hadn't, at least until we saw this video. While we won't spoil the surprise, it's safe to say that Gravy needed to get creative to achieve his lofty goal in the flatter states.

Surfing the Midwest seems like a bit of a chore, since subpar river-surfing just doesn't really do it for us. However, the video's clear highlight is Gravy's final state: Alaska. Tidal bores can produce some of the longest, most scenic rides in surfing, so we're glad Gravy found one on his journey.
