This past weekend, Cloudbreak in Fiji came roaring to life with what may have been the largest swell to ever hit the reef break (it's already being compared to the infamous Code Red swell that hit Fiji in 2012).

The above video from Surfer does a solid job of recapping the madness oh the two-day run of XXL monster waves that rolled through from May 26-27, with everyone from Nathan Florence to Kelly Slater catching bombs out in Fiji, though for our money the ride by Ramon Navarro at the 2:36 mark in the video might just be the biggest Cloudbreak barrel we've ever seen ridden.
And if you want to see what it looks like when someone doesn't make a wave when Cloudreak is macking like it was last weekend, watch Makua Rothman eat it in slow-mo, black-and-white.
Heavy doesn't even begin to do that last one justice. Thank god Rothman made it out in one piece.
