Indonesia is well known for its surf, and for good reason. The archipelago has countless breaks which generally feature warm water, gorgeous white sand beaches, and perfect barrels. This particular break, Lombok's Desert Point, is known for excellent left-handed barrels, but also an unforgivingly shallow reef. Luckily, Von Rupp managed to avoid nature's cheese grater and laced up some beautiful rides.
