Gabriel Medina won his third Quiksilver Pro over the weekend with an impressive semi-final win over now current #1, John John Florence. What is so impressive about Medina is not only his competitive spirit but the ability to land maneuvers usually reserved for the most progressive free surf. In this video, his lands a backflip on one foot and is somehow able to surf out of it. The win puts the Brazilian with striking distance of Jordy Smith and Florence with two events left in the year.
