I suppose that this was bound to happen, given the technology available today. These guys decided to forego wind and a kite altogether, and hitched their friend and his board up to a drone instead. He carves some sweet turns into a shallow Hawaiian beach break and has some fun in the waves.

Not going to lie, this actually looks pretty fun. Maybe at least until the drone crashes into the ocean.
