This 16-Year-Old Snowboarder Just Made X Games History

Hailey Langland, a 16 year old from SoCal, is officially the first woman to land a Cab Double Cork 1080 at the X Games. The trick won Langland— who is the youngest competitor this year—the first gold medal of the games.

Langland first came onto the scene last year when she won bronze in Slopestyle at the X Games. She went on to win the Mile High slopestyle event in Australia this summer, and place second at a big air event in Milan in November.
