Shaun White Settles Sexual Harassment Lawsuit With Former Drummer

According to a U.S.A. Today Report, Shaun White has reached a settlement with a former bandmate who filed a lawsuit against the 30-year-old two-time Olympic gold medal snowboarder citing sexual harassment. Lena Zaweideh, the former drummer of White's band Bad Things, accused White back in 2016 of making sexually explicit and inappropriate remarks. The exact terms of the settlement were not disclosed but it was reported that White repeatedly made sexual vulgar remarks and made the drummer watch "sexually disturbing videos including videos sexualizing human fecal matter."

The female drummer originally sued White over a breach of contract, for failing to pay Zaweideh during her time in the band. However, she later changed lawyers and refiled the suit which included the sexual harassment claims.

White actively contested the claims and even tried to compel Zaweideh to undergo a mental health examination after she claimed to experience mental and emotional distress because of White's behavior. He eventually withdrew that request and Zaweideh's attorney filed a "notice of unconditional settlement in the case and requested the case to be dismissed."
