Your first day on a snowboard is usually nothing glamorous. It involves a lot of falling leaf, tumbling on your tailbone and wrists, and if you can link a single turn then that's a success. I’ll never forget learning how to ride as a 24-year-old on the bunny hill, struggling with my toe edge while this five-year-old whizzed past me making the most beautiful turns. It was humbling to say the least. But if you’re a world-class surfer, it’s almost like you get to hit the fast-forward button and skip this part of the process altogether. Just look at Mason Ho as an example. The only time he’s been on a snowboard was when he was six-years-old, and recently he gave it another go with his sister Coco and snowboarding legend Mark McMorris. Despite it only being his second time on the snow, Mason was a natural. Maybe surfing the best waves in Hawaii is the secret ingredient to becoming a better snowboarder?

I’ve never seen someone with so much potential in snowboarding. Are you serious that it’s only his 2nd time snowboarding? What great talent. Thanks for sharing this! Grease Trap Cleaning

I’ll never forget my first time snowboarding. It was both scary and exciting at the same time. I’ve done mountain biking before but snowboarding is hugely different. A different terrain, different stopping mechanics, and so much more. It was so fun though. Thanks for sharing this! Roof Repairs
