Video: ‘Love – A Big Mountain Ski Film’ Shows Revelstoke at its Best

While it's tempting to think of the 2019/2020 ski season as the "Season Lost to COVID," the truth is that North America had a pretty solid season. The Mountain West got consistent snow throughout most of the winter, as did our neighbors to the north in the Canadian Rockies. The Ski the East crowd got hosed, but sitting in the lodge sipping craft beer and complaining about conditions is the best part of skiing the East anyhow.

Henry Banfield's  LOVE - A Big Mountain Ski Film documents his season spent skiing around Revelstoke with friends. It might be missing a "spring slush" segment due to COVID, but you don't get the impression that Banfield is bitter about his shortened season. Instead, good vibes dominate, which seems about right for an edit titled LOVE.
