Don't get me wrong, mentors of any kind in a sport are fantastic and there's a lot that our male ski partners, paddling buddies, and bike friends can offer us. But there's something about having female mentorship in the mountains that just hits differently. A group of already exceptionally badass women including Mali Noyes, Lani Bruntz, Mary McIntyre, and Nicole Jorgenson, invited one of their idols on a trip in hopes she would become a mentor to them.
