We’re obviously big fans of heli-skiing here at TGR, but one of our very own just totally one-upped us. Fabian Lentsch and his Austrian friends Andreas Gumpenberger and Stefan Ager decided to go Zeppelin skiing. Yeah, like a BLIMP, for us uncultured Americans.
Fabian and co. boarded a special airship for this mission – which they weren’t even sure was possible until they were airborne. According to the pilot, the Zeppelin was flown at its absolute maximum operating altitude, and any sort of air pressure or wind change could mean disaster.
