TRAILER: Fabian Lentsch’s ‘A Foreign Native’ – A Year in Iran

Austrian freeride skier Fabian Lentsch has always been fascinated by exploring what lays over the horizon – forging his own path through a world marred by political, cultural, and ideological divides. In true fashion, he left his familiar world behind and spent an entire year living in Iran to dive deeper into a country he became fascinated by on previous travels. His home base for ski adventures and getting to know a foreign culture was Tehran, a place he describes as “the most underrated ski town in the world.” The year’s journey is document in his newest film with Snowmads A Foreign Native.
