At this point, Griffin Post’s career has taken him just about anywhere on the planet you’d like to go as a skier – Alaska, Europe, India, South America, and of course all the powder meccas of North America. All that traveling sounds awesome, but one of the best parts is the fact that he gets to come home to his favorite place to ski: Jackson Hole, Wyoming. As someone who knows the Tetons better than most, TGR turns to Post when it comes time to stack footage in our backyard. That’s exactly what the North Face and Kastle athlete did while filming for Make Believe last winter, fully immersing himself (and his legendary ‘stache) in one of our deepest winters yet, ticking off classic lines big and small with the best crew around.
Of course, skiing close to home brings the advantage of familiarity and the fact that you get to wake up, call a friend (or three) and go shred whatever the conditions let you. Oh yeah, and when it’s all said and done, it’s time to kick back and share a few apres Sierra Nevadas and make plans for the next round.
