Step Inside the Life of FWT Champion Leo Slemett

When it comes to sports stories, we’re always fans of those that involve the underdog making it to the top. French freeride skier Leo Slemett’s story certainly fits that bill. Starting his pro career as one of the youngest-ever athletes to compete on the Freeride World Tour, he was quickly humbled by the big guns in the game. Now 10 years into his career, he’s been crowned FWT Champion, combining the experience he gained through competing as an alpine racer and a freestyle skier. In Episode 1 of FWT’s series LEO, Slemett tells us how his journey and the trials and tribulations of competing on the Freeride circuit begun and becoming the youngest athlete to compete on the FWT.
