Here's a little teaser that will get you amped to head out skiing this weekend (or tomorrow morning) and will probably make you want to tune in for the full-deal film when it drops in fall, 2016.
This snippet of the latest Troublehaus production features the insanely picturesque Alps being stomped and sent in near cinematic perfection. Despite it's ski porn roots, this video is unique in it's intentions: the soundtrack comes from a band called Electric Roots who clearly worked with Troublehaus, and is prominently featured in the first 45 seconds of this edit (a substantial amount of time for a ski edit of only 2 mins 10 seconds total). Electric Roots' music feels like a modern take on the grunge, rock style music that was so popular in ski edits in the 90s and early 2000s. Despite the slight throw-back vibe, this soundtrack will probably make the full-length film stand out among other ski edits currently being made; catching both your ear and eye simultaneously.

The influence of music on ski culture is not to be overlooked and it's awesome to see bands working directly with athletes and video production companies to combine artistic visions, share inspirations, and create something that honors the life's work of both entities.
