The art of Horse-driven ski racing

If you are part of the vast swath of skiers, boarders, surfers, and riders unfamiliar with the tradition of Skijoring, prepare to be endeared. Here we have a sport borne from the necessities of winter transit. Horses, dogs, and vehicles all count as viable ways to pull someone or something on skis. Ingenious! 

With the advent of snowcats and other devilish, high-powered modern machines, Skijoring slowly became confined to the context of recreation and competition. Here, we see a pair of racers competing in Driggs, Idaho-- and winning, no less! Well done, lads.
