Skier Jacob Wester Narrowly escapes an Alaskan Avalanche

This is a hairy one.

Jacob Wester has a New Year's resolution for 2024, and it's to put himself "in fewer situations like this one". That sounds about right, considering how gnarly this clip is of him triggering and then barely riding out a huge avalanche up in Alaska. Things can get serious very fast in the backcountry, and Jacob offers us another prime example here. Please be prepared before venturing out of bounds, kids! It could cost you your life.
