Ski Boss Tanner Hall Narrowly Avoids Slide In Tahoe Backcountry

Tanner Hall is in a league of his own. The man seems to be invincible and has become one of the most controversial, yet resilient figures in freeskiing. He's like the Keith Richards of our sport, or maybe the Snoop Dog? After coming back from injuries that would end most people's careers—two broken ankles—and two torn ACL's, battled addiction, and the death of his best friend, Tanner has been a man on a mission and is skiing for no one but himself.

Tanner's been mostly based in the Tahoe area for the past couple seasons, and has been ripping everything to pieces, from the Boreal park to Donner Pass booters. Watch here as the Ski Boss opens er' up down a particularly spicy chute in the Tahoe backcountry, and has the entire thing rip out behind him. In true Tanner fashion, like a cat, he narrowly escapes what would have taken him for one hell of a wild ride.
