Salomon Launches New Athlete-Driven Ski – the QST Blank

Skiing is a forever-changing sport, particularly in the realm of freeriding, where athletes are pushing the horizons of what's possible on two planks every single day. We’re always big fans of when real-life skiers get a say in ski design, as opposed to just leaving it to the engineers and marketing teams. That’s exactly what Salomon seems to have done with their new QST line, particularly with the QST Blank, a 112-underfoot directional freeride ripper. We’re talking some real collaboration here: style cat Alexi Godbout weighed in on playfulness, while Stan Rey and Chris Rubens brought their ex-racer turned powder pig needs to the table. Leah Evans chimed in on floatation, Josh Daiek sounded off on power and stability, and finally skintrack fiend Cody Townsend delivered on weight vs. performance.
