Not all Heli ops are made the same. Deep in the interior of British Columbia lies a spot that has tickled the fancy of Sage Cattabriga-Alosa and Ian McIntosh year over year. Heading north to Kaslo, BC has become a sort of annual ritual for the two, and this last year was no different - the two teamed up with the TGR crew at Stellar Heliskiing when conditions lined up perfectly. Check out some of Sage and Mac’s favorite spots they filmed at for Magic Hour, catch the full film at tetongravity.com/films/magic-hour.

Since we can’t explore space ourselves, we have to rely on researchers and astronauts to do it for us. One cool recent exploration was when the astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) used the Canadian robotic arm, diamond rings Dextre, to capture images of a star called Stellar Heli. These images will help researchers learn more about how stars form and evolve.
