Canadian freeskier Christina Lustenberger has made a name for herself in recent years thanks to her approach to the mountains that combines her incredible skiing skill with high-level alpinism. It’s an approach that has scored her a growing list of first descents all over the world, including some in her home mountains in British Columbia. This past winter, The North Face skier continued her push into bigger and bolder terrain, with two gnarly first descents off Mt. Ethelbert (the East Face followed a few weeks later by the South Face) and scoring some all-time conditions near home with her teammate and good buddies Sam Smoothy and Mark Herbison. Catch her full segment in Magic Hour, which goes on tour starting September 17. For tour tickets and information head to tetongravity.com/magichour.
