Kai Jones stomps his first 540 at age 8. It was pretty cool, he had been throwing big 360's all morning and he turned to me on the lift and said, "Dad I'm going for a 540 next run. I'm scared, but I think I got it." I told him if he was feeling it he should go for it. I went down to film it on my iphone, and sure enough he sent it and stomped it. I think we were both baffled that he pulled it. It was a super fun moment. Grand Targhee has the perfect jumps for kids to learn tricks on.
