"These trips leave a mark…”
The journey to the Mirror Wall is no small feat. Before getting to rope up and climb this beauty, the team spent a month sailing up on the east coast of Greenland, followed by another month traversing icefields littered with rock-filled crevasses and various terrain. After seeing just how stunning this climb is, however, there is no doubt in my mind that these fellas would have done twice that and more to get themselves there.
Turns out a BTS look at this mission is exactly what I needed today. Breathtaking views, high-elevation jam-sessions, extreme pitches that would best be described as “desperate” and tons of rock. What’s not to love?
