VIDEO: Fabian Lentsch Flies Down 6500 feet in 3 minutes
Popular Stories
Fabian Lentsch knows the mountains around his home of Innsbruck, Austria like the back of his hand. So it’s no surprise that he knows the fastest way down the 10728-foot Habicht, an iconic peak just south of town. For him, that includes strapping into his speedflying rig and jumping off the summit to chase a buddy down 6500 feet of vert. Judging by the ground he’s flying over, there is absolutely no room for error on this flight, but in true fashion, he even manages to lay down some style.
Fun fact: from German, the mountain's name translates to "The Hawk."
