Cody Townsend's 'The Fifty Project' is an in-depth look at what it takes to climb and ski all 50 lines described in Fifty Classic Ski Descents of North America. A big part of successful ski-mountaineering is having the right gear—you wouldn't want to go up the Grand Teton with Atomic Redsters mounted with Pivot 18s, for example.
