The Most Important Guidebook to New York City

Having grown up in NYC myself, I can say that the climbing opportunities are few and far between. However, Gareth Leah decided to prove that notion wrong, and set out to write the first comprehensive guidebook of bouldering problems within city limits. The slippery grey Manhattan Schist found in the cities parks makes for very interesting climbing, not to mention that it all happens in front of the curious eyes of New Yorkers.

This is a different kind of climbing video, the moves aren’t all that hard, the problems isn’t all that flashy, but there’s something about watching this happen in a place so opposite of your typical bouldering area that makes me happy.
