Video: The Top Three Runs from Red Bull Rampage 2018

This past Friday, we witnessed a new level of gnar at Red Bull Rampage. Sure, the event has been pushing the limits of what’s possible on a bike for 13 or so years now, but with a new venue and some creative new lines, that bar got pushed higher yet. Let’s just say that while Brett Rheeder, Andreu Lacondeguy, and Ethan Nell rightfully stood atop the podium, everyone out there pushed mountain biking into another dimension. Let's give a shoutout to people's choice winner Adolf Silva, best trick winner Tom Van Steenbergen, and Kyle Strait for the fact that he has finished a run in every single Rampage event ever.

Second-place winner Andreu Lacondeguy put together one of the most hectic runs the event has ever seen, tricking just about every major feature, even linking a 450 to a backflip:

Local boy Ethan Nell took home his second third place in as many years, and shows that he has what it takes to play on the big stage:

Brendan Fairclough rode where nobody else wanted to ride, linking together a bunch of SKETCHY looking gaps and his massive drop off a massive rock feature he called “Dwayne Johnson,” we reckon his run would have scored much higher had he dropped later in the pack.
