The First Stop of Enduro World Series Was A Muddy Mess

After the wet and wild first stop of the EWS went down in Rotorua, NZ two weeks ago, the rain struck again. Absolutely drenching the second stop in Derby, Tasmania, it did not deter riders from absolutely shredding the Tasmanian rainforest.

A new venue this year led riders through a very unique track, featuring some super-tight rock gaps (some riders reported cutting down their bars to prevent catching their knuckles), mixed in with good-old high speed shredding over 57km and about 1500m of climbing. Rookie Adrien Dailly won the men’s race, with Isabeau Courdurier taking the women’s title.
