Boundary-breaking freeride mountain biker Casey Brown is being featured on HBO’s Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel in tonight’s segment, airing at 10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT and also streaming on HBO Max. The episode will dive deep into Brown’s career as a world-class athlete with a very atypical story. Growing up with her family completely isolated from the outside world in the New Zealand bush, Brown followed in her older brother Sam’s footsteps, becoming a professional mountain biker. Her career highlights include being the first to jump into Jackson Hole’s Corbet’s Couloir on a bike, competing in Red Bull Formation, and standing atop many race podiums. While developing into one of the most accomplished bikers in the world, and working tirelessly to advance opportunities for female riders, Casey has had to cope with heartbreaking tragedy.
