Brendog Breaks Down His 50-Foot Canyon Gap Backflip at Rampage

Brendan Fairclough might not have won Red Bull Rampage last year, but he had two of the event's most memorable runs nonetheless. During his first run he managed to land a massive and highly-consequential backflip over a deep canyon, earning him fourth place overall. His second run, during which he stopped and busted out 30 push-ups on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, was dedicated to the late Jordie Lunn, who had a habit of doing 30 push-ups before each Rampage. His latest vlog takes us behind the scenes on the big day, making it clear that his never-before-attempted flip was anything but easy.

Fairclough's fourth-place finish in 2019 would pre-qualifiy him for the 2020 event, normally staged in late October. There has been no official statement from the event's organizers regarding COVID, but it seems a safe assumption that they're watching the situation closely.
