Video: Yannis Pelé Shows off Some of the Alps’ Best Singletrack

Oh man, do I miss riding my bike in the Alps. French rider Yannis Pelé just made that longing even worse with his latest clip of exploring France’s Mercantour National Park on two wheels. Ok, I’ll admit that the video is a little unorthodox – I mean, who rappels with their mountain bike on their back? But either way, it’s an interesting view into the potential of riding your mountain bike in the Alps. There’s great food, great culture, and even better trails.

A bad crash in 2016 left Yannis Pelé with a spinal cord injury and slim chances of ever walking again, much less mountain biking at the level he does now. However, Pelé wasn't content to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair, and put his all into PT and rehabilitation, resulting in where he is now.
